Free to Be Festival
September 13, 2025 (8am-1pm)
at W.W. Ashley Park (814 2nd Street E, Saskatoon)
The Free to Be Festival is a half-day event bringing together local fitness studios and partners in support of You Are More Projects’ yearly programming for survivors and allies in the fight against sexual violence and in pursuit of holistic healing from trauma.
Coffee & Connection
Start your festival day feeling seen, supported, and connected.
Coffee & Connection is a welcoming, all-genders space designed to help you ease into the day with intention and community. Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, this relaxed gathering ensures you won’t feel alone — it’s your built-in bestie builder.
What to Expect:
-
A warm welcome from your host - Tammy Zdunich
-
A guiding reflection question to open conversation
-
Small group sharing circles (6–8 people, one voice at a time — no interruptions, no advice)
-
A gentle closing before you head into the rest of the festival
-
This is your space to slow down, sip something warm (or iced), and connect in meaningful ways. No pressure, no performance — just presence.
Come as you are. Leave grounded, connected, and ready to move.
