More Than What Happened
The You Are More Project is a non-profit organization based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence through healing, education, advocacy, and community connection.
We believe survivors are more than what happened to them. Through accessible programs, trauma-informed partnerships, and community initiatives, we work to reduce barriers to healing while creating spaces where survivors feel supported, empowered, and connected.
OUR MISSION
To support survivors of sexual violence through accessible healing opportunities, community connection, education, and advocacy.
VISION
A world where survivors of sexual violence have equitable access to support, healing, and opportunities to thrive.
Our Story
The You Are More Project was founded on the belief that survivors deserve access to support, healing opportunities, and communities that recognize their strength beyond their experiences of violence.

What began as a vision to create greater awareness around sexual violence has grown into a community-driven organization focused on increasing access to healing, fostering connection, and supporting survivors in ways that honour their individual journeys.

We recognize that healing is not one-size-fits-all. By bringing together survivors, practitioners, partners, and community members, we strive to create meaningful opportunities for education, healing, and lasting change.
