We will integrate psychoeducation, movement, and nervous system regulation in a safer space for sexual violence victims and secondary victims. We will encourage participants to connect deeply to themselves and others to feel a sense of community, alleviating isolation in the healing journey.

About the event

This day program is for all sexual violence victims and secondary victims, friends and family of sexual violence victims to connect deeply with oneself and others, feeling the impact of community and alleviating isolation in the healing journey.

Doors open at 1:45pm - Program begins at 2pm

Break the Silence - Share the Warmth Agenda:

  • Programming Starts (2pm)
  • Connection with Self: Breathwork and Settling in
  • Yoga Movement with Linzi Stoddard
  • Break
  • Psychoeducation with Taylor Chetty
  • Journaling Prompts/Reflection
  • Meditation with Mallory
  • Event Wrap-Up (4:30pm)

*Please note, no photographs or videos will be taken during this program. We hope to create a safe space where we can connect, move and learn together*

Please bring the following:

  • Comfy/athletic clothing that you feel comfortable moving in
  • Water Bottle
  • Journal/Extra Paper

Break the Silence: Share the Warmth is funded by our successful SK Energy grant application, further Break the Silence day program will continue throughout the year with funding from ‘The Gathering”.
